Getting to Know Go Wild Workshops
What is Go Wild Workshops?
Go Wild Workshops is an Ofsted approved holiday club for 5 - 12 year old children, running outdoor activities all year round. We’re an action-packed club where kids connect with nature, make new friends, and tackle challenges together. Our goal? To have loads of fun while learning about the wild world around us and how to respect it. We run in all school holidays except Christmas.
Who can join the fun?
Our holiday club is open to kids aged 5½ to 12 years old (that’s school years 1 to 7).
When does the fun start?
We kick things off at 9am and wrap up the day at 3pm.
Does my child need to attend the hosting school to join?
Nope! The school is just our venue, your child is welcome to join no matter where they go to school.
Are you Ofsted registered?
Yes, we are! That means you can use Childcare Vouchers & Tax Free Childcare to cover the costs.
Who’s running the show?
Our workshops are led by Jungle Jim, founder & director of Go Wild, along with his fantastic team of staff, all of whom are DBS checked and First Aid qualified.

Safety and Supervision
How is participant safety ensured?
Safety is our top priority! We always have at least one First Aid trained staff member on duty, and all activities and locations are risk assessed. Plus, our front gate stays locked all day, so no one comes or goes without us knowing!
What are the staff-to-participant ratios?
The staff-to-participant ratio is 1-to-10, which is correct by Ofsted specifications. There will also always be a minimum of two supervisors working.
Are your staff First Aid certified?
Yes, we always have at least one First Aid certified staff member on site.
What if my child feels unwell?
We make sure every child knows exactly who to go to if they’re feeling off. We’re here to help and, if necessary, give you a call for advice or to come and collect.
What if my child gets sick or injured during the day?
We’ll give you a call using the contact number in your Magic Booking account, so please keep it up to date.
What happens at drop off and pick up?
Drop-off is at 9am, and we’ll lock the gates until 3pm when the workshop ends. If you need to drop off or pick up at a different time, just let us know in advance. If you’re running late for pick-up, give us a quick call on 07355372471.
Please note that if you are more than 15 minutes late for pick up, this will incur a £10 charge.
What if someone else is picking up my child?
No worries — just let us know ahead of time who will be collecting your child. We’ll make sure they’re handed over safely.

Preparation and what to bring
What should my child bring?
Pack a lunch, a water bottle, any necessary medication, and a change of clothes (especially on hot days as we love our water games!).
What should participants wear?
Practical footwear is key since we’ll be exploring uneven terrain. Dress for the weather: waterproofs and sturdy shoes (perhaps even wellies…) on rainy days, sun hats and sunscreen on sunny ones. And don’t forget — they’re likely to get a bit muddy!
What if we forget something?
Drop us an email and we will do our best to reunite you with any lost items.
